Positive Outcomes
I am a senior citizen who still enjoys riding dressage, and I do so despite dealing with an old rotator cuff injury and constant pain in my hip. Unfortunately, this year I compounded my challenges with two falls from my horse which resulted in broken bones in my foot and ribs.
I have found sessions with Tom to be very helpful. Even while dealing with the discomfort of my broken bones healing I have been developing muscle flexibility and strength. Tom rebalanced my body by helping me to strengthen my weaker muscles. Now, I am back to doing an active 30 minute daily walk feeling like I am using my muscles correctly.
Personally, I think Tom is a delight to work with; he is kind, he is knowledgeable, he listens, and he is creative in his solutions for my individual needs.

I first saw Tom during a very difficult rehearsal process. My lower legs, ankles, and feet had been weakened from injury, and had become more and more prone to constant aches and pains – often slightly different from day to day, but always present. After a couple of sessions with Tom, my legs and feet felt “alive” for the first time in ages. It was such a relief to see results and to feel that I could finally use my muscles and joints fully again. I am extremely grateful, and I highly recommend him to anybody who just wishes their body would “work” better.

As a professional soccer player and a goalkeeper for the U.S. Women’s National Team it is imperative that I take care of my body with the utmost care. In my sport, and position more specifically, there is so much pounding on the ground, whether running or diving, that I put my body through every day; and, as a result of the high intensity trainings that I face, my body becomes very stiff, preventing me from recovering and being in the best form for the next day's practice.
This became a huge issue for me when I was away at this summer's Women's World Cup. Five straight weeks of high intensity training with no days off, and I could not get my body back in proper form. As soon as I returned home from Germany, I made an appointment with Tom; it was necessary that I saw him as soon as possible, as my professional team had ten games in the next five weeks.
I saw Tom a few times within that month period and deemed his work really advantageous. I was able to compete at my highest level with no pain, no stiffness, and a better range of motion, which was something that no trainer was able to do with me in just a few treatment sessions. Tom's patience and willingness to assess my body's weaknesses was unlike anyone I have ever worked with. He sincerely cares for his athletes and goes above and beyond to help in any way he can.
I truly believe that Tom's persistence and knowledge gave my body the freedom to perform successfully at the highest level. Without Tom's help I would not have been able to help my team get to the semifinals of the WPS Championship. I am so grateful to have met Tom and have him work on me. I highly recommend his work to anyone experiencing any type of pain, it helped me and it can help you too!

I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine who was traditionally trained in medicine. At the time I started working with Tom I was functionally ineffective, irritated by a number of symptoms and diagnoses, and feeling let down with the current medical model. I was unable to walk any distance without walking sticks, was dealing with sudden knee pains that would drop me to one knee and was obligated to hand rails while going up or down stairs. My feet burned and had little feeling, and I had restless legs at night. I suffered constant joint pain in my shoulder from a surfing injury, and had aches in my knees and shins from everyday tasks.
After the first two sessions pain within my body had lessened in all areas. I started foot exercises, increased water consumption, and began self-regulating my diet. I began implementing exercises for pelvic placement and stopped excessive attempts at forceful stretching. I was able to walk further, to increase my swimming, and began surf kayaking.
Eventually, I was able to walk up 300ft hills in Yellowstone National Park without the aid of my walking sticks.
My body certainly has no problem celebrating the lack of pain and the gradual reduction of most of my symptoms.
